Frequently asked questions
What does follow the feeling mean?
Often, when someone is telling you a story there is a lot of detail which may mask how they actually feel about it. Follow the feeling is about listening to what is said, how it is said and detecting the emotion behind
the words and body language.
Is the money back guarantee genuine?
Yes it is. All of the students so far have been delighted with the course. We see no reason why this should always be the case as we are continually developing the course to make it even better. The last thing we
want is for any of our students to be unhappy in any way. If a student can honestly say that they did not feel the course met the promises made at the start then we will gladly refund their investment. We only ask
that you tell us why and that you have completed the course.
Will I be forced to speak in public?
That’s a common worry. Firstly, you do not have to say anything you do not want to, nor will you be ‘put in the spot’. The classes are small for good reason – there is a bond of trust built up very quickly between
all students so it feels like you are confiding in a friend.
Isn’t this just the same as any other of the hundreds of courses available?
Yes and no. We do pull on theory that is widely available and has been thoroughly tested. We are making sure that it is presented and used in a way that is accessible to many people. We also have the 7 Key Principles,
which is a new concept developed by us. Obviously the principles themselves are not new, but the way they are applied in the Ways of Being is unique.
What if I start but cannot continue?
Life is continually throwing curved balls at us. You just need to look at the Covid situation to realise how true that is. If circumstances mean you are unable to continue, then you can either carry it forward into
the next course or receive a pro-rata refund for the as yet unused portion of the course.
I want to try the course by doing the ‘Self Help’ modules first. Can I upgrade if I like it?
Yes you can. The modules are the same whichever course you are doing so you can upgrade by paying the difference assuming there are sufficient spaces available.
I’m put off by Zoom as my computer skills are poor.
The Zoom platform is really easy to use. We will sent you an email with link to press to open up for the course. That’s all there is to it. We would recommend that you have somewhere quiet to work from though.
What do I need to provide?
It is best if you have a computer or laptop. This makes it easier to see what’s going on during the modules and also easier to type up your essays . Although we have had students using their phone and hand writing
their essays.
Is it confidential?
Absolutely. We stick to the GDPR regulations and we also have an ethical framework which we adhere to.
What is Shape all about?
It’s really about being in the shape you want to be. Whether that’s because you don’t like the shape you’re in or are quite happy but want to find a way to change – to be a better version of yourself. But in a sustainable
and ethical way. Shape courses have the ability to change how you are – you’re way of being – so that other people can really notice the difference. Whether it’s self development, job advancement or to relieve the
pain of the past, then shape is there for you. You can always phone up to speak to one of the course leaders for an informal chat.
